Find Your Clarity with Megan Johnston

Exploring An Alcohol Free Life With Ellie Nova

Megan Seamans Johnston Season 3 Episode 11

What if sobriety wasn’t about restriction but liberation?

In this episode, I sit down with Ellie Nova, a writer, mentor, and guide for women exploring an alcohol-free lifestyle. We talk about what it really means to say yes to clarity, to listen to the quiet signals that you might be ready for change in your relationship with alcohol, and to navigate the messy middle between old patterns and new possibilities.

Together, we explore:
✨ The subtle (and not-so-subtle) signals that you might be ready to live alcohol-free
✨ The social shifts that happen when your relationship with drinking changes
✨ The surprising emotional and energetic changes that follow
✨ Why this isn’t just about alcohol... it’s about how you relate to yourself
✨ How to hold compassion and curiosity on the journey

This conversation isn’t about judgment or labels — it’s about awareness and giving yourself permission to live in a way that feels truly like you.

🪷 About Ellie:
Ellie is a sober coach and mentor living in Lewes, near the south coast in the UK. After over a decade feeling trapped by alcohol and full of shame, she discovered a radically different approach to breaking free from addiction. Her journey led her to question everything she'd been believing about alcohol,    and to build a loving relationship with herself for the first time.

Now nearly six years joyfully alcohol-free, Ellie supports courageous women to break free from alcohol and live a life they may only have dreamed was possible for them. Through one-to-one coaching and group support circles, she helps women to rediscover the light that was always shining in them.
